Who we are
RealtyConnect is operated by ACME Properties Agency (estate agency licence C-100269). This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it, under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, phone number and/or email, your message, and the listing you asked about.
When you ask for an emailed summary: your email address and the listing number.
When you browse: a random visitor ID in a cookie, your IP address and which listings you opened, so we can apply the free limits (20 flat details and 3 summaries a day).
In the app
If you sign in: your email address and name, your sign-in sessions, and the one-time codes or password-reset links we email you. Agent accounts are issued by the agency and also hold the agent's licence details.
If you save things: the flats you save, the searches you ask us to watch, and your notification choices.
If you allow notifications: a push token for each phone, so alerts reach you. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone's settings.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry through a licensed agent, to send the summary you asked for, to apply the daily limits and to protect the site from abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for direct marketing unless you separately agree.
Who sees it
The agent responsible for the listing and our back-office staff. Service providers that host the site and send email process it on our instructions. Video walk-throughs load from YouTube only when you press play.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after the last contact. Summary requests and visitor counters: up to 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you: email info@realtyconnect.app. We may charge a reasonable fee for a data access request, as the Ordinance allows.
Deleting your account
A client can delete their account in the app (Me › Delete account) or on this website. It takes effect at once. What is erased, and what an agency must keep, is on the account deletion page.
